Finish Line HALO Hot Wax Hot Chain Wax

With the HALO Hot Wax, Finish Line presents a hot chain wax for high demands on friction reduction, dirt repellence and mileage, which can fully utilise its performance in both dry and wet conditions.
During three years of development, the paraffin-based wax pellets were optimised and combined with tungsten powder and boron nitride to create a high-performance chain lubricant. After the chain has been prepared using the hot waxing process, a dry, dirt and water-repellent layer remains, which has penetrated into the inside of the chain. The HALO Hot Wax reduces both friction and wear and also has an anti-corrosive effect, which optimises the chain's smoothness and durability.
This makes HALO Hot Wax suitable for anyone who prioritises an efficient drivetrain with low wear and high dirt resistance.

Note on HALO Hot Wax hot chain wax:
Before treatment with HALO Hot Wax, the removed chain must be completely cleaned of lubricant and dirt and then dried. To melt the wax pellets, you can place the bag in a pot of hot water or put it in a slow cooker without the packaging. The temperature of the wax must not exceed 104°C. When the wax pellets have completely melted, remove the bag or the slow cooker from the cooker. Now place the chain in the melted wax using the immersion tool provided. Remove the chain after three minutes in the wax bath and hang it up to dry and drain for approx. 30 minutes. When the chain has cooled down and dried, move the individual chain links to make them smooth again. You can then refit the chain.
Do not use a microwave or oven to melt the wax. The temperature of the wax must not exceed 104°C.

ATTENTION:
For safety reasons, you should wear gloves and safety goggles when using the hot wax.
