With the further developed Keo Blade Ceramic, Look presents the fourth edition of its road bike pedal, which is technically at competition level thanks to its enlarged contact surface, improved aerodynamics and low weight.
A highlight of these pedals made in France is the wider and larger contact surface, which enables even pressure distribution under the foot, avoids hot spots and optimises the power transfer. Another special feature are the large leaf springs attached to the underside for the click mechanism, which are made of composite material and keep the weight of the pedals low. This is also ensured by the carbon pedal bodies, whose aerodynamic profile has been further developed to reduce air resistance even more. To achieve this, the front section of the pedal was redesigned in order to achieve the closest possible transition between pedal and shoe.
When it comes to smooth running, there were also no half measures taken: Thanks to the use of high-quality ceramic bearings, friction losses can be reduced to a minimum, allowing your power to be converted into propulsion in the best possible way. In combination with improved seals and water-resistant bearing grease, this ensures high durability.
